Pear Protein Smoothie
This smoothie is sweet, thick and delicious- and a great way to start the day or to sub for another meal or snack you might be having. I love to have this Pear Protein Smoothie as part of my breakfast because it’s tasty but also because it’s good for my body too. The pear skin has quercitin that’s anti-cancer an a powerful antioxidant. The spinach has brain healthy magnesium and folate, and of course the protein helps my blood sugar to stay balanced, and me to stay satiated.

Pear Protein Smoothie
Prep time: 5 minutes
Total time: 5-10 minutes
Makes: 1 serving (16-20 oz)
Ingredients:
- 1 pear, cored
- 2 handfuls spinach
- 1 scoop plant based protein (I used Amazing Grass SuperFood Protein)
- 8 oz cashew milk
- 1 handful of ice (optional)
- Blueberries for garnish
Directions:
- Wash and prepare all the ingredients.
- Add all of the ingredients to the blender- and blend on high for 45-60 seconds or until well mixed.
- Serve and enjoy!
