Strawberry Vanilla Protein Smoothie
It’s a snowy, gorgeous morning here in New York City, so we’re inside making yummy recipes to share with you! This strawberry vanilla smoothie is super simple and a sure crowd pleaser (kids too!). It’s made with just a few simple ingredients, and for any of you veggie dislikers out there I skipped the greens here (although when I drank it I added green spinach in after taking the photo :)).
The most important thing about this breakfast smoothie is that it has protein in it- which is helpful in prompting satiety and balanced blood sugar, which is always a great thing for energy and weight management. If you’re making this smoothie for a picky family member – you can add a little honey (although it’s pretty sweet thanks to the berries and the vanilla protein!).
Try pairing this smoothie with some yummy breakfast oatmeal or eggs- for a well rounded and delicious breakfast. I’m all about the big breakfast to start the day! You can of course also have this smoothie for a snack if that suits you better!
Enjoy!
