This juice is a variation of one of my favorites–apple, carrot and ginger–but  instead of keeping it the same, I decided to shake it up!

This juice includes seasonal and oh-so-delicious watermelon for a little sweet flavor instead of an apple. Watermelon is a rich source of nutrients like anti-cancer lycopene and magnesium. Magnesium is a heart-healthy nutrient that is also an electrolyte and can help to promote hydration. Magnesium is also a wonderful nutrient that can also help to promote muscle relaxation and restful sleep. Watermelon is also a source of L-citrulline, a nutrient that may help muscles to recover faster from exercise; and to boot watermelon is a rich source of potassium that’s also heart-healthy as well!

Use this sweet watermelon and carrot juice to inspire you to try new and delicious (and nutritious) produce combinations!
